I wouldn't necessairly do female characters or anything but I'd wanna learn to do characters in photoshop.
Are you 3D modeling them?

Oh, no. You got what I do wrong.
I don't design the 3d models, I get cut-outs (renders) of said characters, a background, c4d's, etc.
Then I just put them together, blend them well, and add some nice effects.

Though, I wish I could create 3d models. :<

Ah okay cool. I was wondering if there were 3D features on adobe photoshop because I know you can make 3D layers out of premade shapes but can you make some 3D lines (meaning that they can go passing in front and then continue behind the selected object layer.
I haven't found out how to do it but I'm very more familiar with AAE and that feature is possible, so I was thinking it's ridiculous you can do more 3D shapes on a video editing program than on a picture editing program.

But if I wanted something to go behind a layer and infront of another, I'd just use the eraser..

Yeah, that's what I wanted to know. Because on after effect you can actually make a part of it go behind and the other infront, w/o making two layers, one on top and one below. W/e

Going out of the subject a bit, I was wondering how'd you render your animated gif banner for radiance MS. Did you simply make every frame one by one and went on a site like "gif ninja" and rendered it?
Or did you use an actual animating program such as Macromedia Flash or Adobe Flash?

I'm asking because I also made a banner but the image quality horrible, and yours is decent. I used Adobe Flash CS4 to make mine. I rendered as animated GIF with the best settings and the quality is still bad. I have tried rendering it as a video and the quality is amazing. I than converted that video into animated GIF with some programs I searched up on youtube and the quality is the same.

You may not be able to answer to this question, but do you think Gtop100 can post banners in SWF files?
